Windows Commander, a winner of DGL's "Must Have" Award, has been updated and released as version 3.5.
A replacement for Windows 95/NT Explorer, Windows Commander is a dual-pane file management tool that makes file management a breeze.
New features include:
- both 16 bit and 32 bit versions available
- built-in FTP client
- direct access to Network Neighborhood
- integrated ZIP-compatible packer, supports long filenames
- support for long filenames in Windows 95 and Windows NT (16 and 32-bit version)
- encode/decode files in UUE, XXE and MIME format
- split/combine large files
- extended copying, moving, renaming and deleting of entire trees (Enables deleting full directories)
- support for drag & drop mouse operations
