Links Issue - my opinion

I feel that this issue has been distorted by media
sensationalism. Anyone reading the articles in their
entirety (unfortunately to the very end to find this
out) found that the issue was not the existence of a
link itself but passing the information from the linked
to site off as info provided by the linker. Frames
allowed this to appear in this manner.

There is no question in my mind that a link should
not require permission, nor should providing a link
carry any liability what so ever. However I do think
that attempting to keep visitors at one's site by using
frames to incorporate another's Web site material into
one's pages should be avoided much as plagiarism is.
