I've read all the messages regarding spammers,
and, at this point, we don't seem to have a concensus. Some people hate it totally; others don't mind the inconvenience; some appear ambivalent. I, for one, don't like it at all. I especially don't like spam from spammers asking me if I want to become a spammer! Gasp! What a thought! I really resent spam from the XXX spots as we are a business, and it is also personally offensive.
Anyway, I think providers have a right to determine who they allow to use their services. We are not talking about the US Postal Service. If I have a guest in my home who misbehaves, they will not be invited again. If I have a guest in my hotel who misbehaves, I do not have to entertain their business again. I believe I have a choice regarding who I allow to use my services, why don't ISPs have the same right?
